Mr. Moses Lukwago
Moses Lukwago is a founding member of UACO and current Secretary General. He was born in Uganda and is an alumnus of Makerere University, Kampala Uganda, where he earned a B.A (Hons) degree and Concurrent Diploma in Education (1981); the University of Regina, Saskatchewan Canada where he graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Distinction) in 1994. Moses has advanced degrees in Inter-disciplinary Technology from Eastern Michigan University (2005) and Education Specialist in Leadership from Oakland University (2011). He is also a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Canada and the Galileo Leadership Institute of Michigan, in the United States. Moses is the current president of Uganda Community of Michigan. He is also an executive board member of the African Caribbean Chamber of Commerce that is based in Michigan. Moses works with Oakland Schools Intermediate School district as lead instructor of Information Technology at the Southwest campus in Wixom, Michigan. He is the Secretary to the Executive Board of the Oakland Schools Teacher’s Union. Moses is married to Juliet. They live in Farmington Hills, Michigan. They have three wonderful children, Sanyu, Kirabo, and Tendo.
